Classified by carpet material
1. Pure wool carpet
Usually made of pure wool, it is used for indoor floors in hotels, stages, and living rooms.
2. Blended carpet
There are many types of blended carpets, often blended with pure wool fibers and various synthetic fibers. If 20% nylon fiber is added to the wool fiber, the wear resistance of the carpet can be increased by five times; it can also be blended with synthetic fibers such as polyacrylonitrile fiber.
3. Synthetic fiber carpet
Synthetic fiber carpets, also known as chemical fiber carpets, have developed rapidly in recent years, with wide varieties and low prices, and are suitable for general indoor floor laying.
4. Plastic carpet
Plastic carpet is a kind of carpet made of polyvinyl chloride resin, adding various auxiliary materials such as plasticizers and uniformly kneading and molding. It has the advantages of soft texture, bright colors, comfortable and durability, self-extinguishing and non-combustible, and easy to clean. There are two types of cut pile and loop pile, and there are various colors and patterns. Commonly used in residences, hotels, stages, shopping malls, high-rise buildings, bathrooms, and other public buildings. Its specifications are: the width is 3m, 3.6m, and 4m; the length is 25m or processed according to the user’s requirements; the velvet height is 5mm (loop velvet), 7mm (cut velvet).
The main properties of the plastic carpet are: the light fastness is above grade 4; the rubbing fastness is below grade 4; the peeling strength is 3-5kg.
5. Rubber carpet
Rubber carpet is made of natural rubber, heated by steam, and molded under the carpet mold. In addition to other carpet features, it also has the characteristics of anti-mildew, anti-slip, anti-moth, moisture-proof, corrosion-resistant, insulating, and easy to clean. Its color and pattern can be customized according to user requirements. The specifications are square, mainly including 500 mmX500 mm, 1000 mmXl000 mm, and the pile length is 5-6mm. It can be used for laying wet or frequently rained floors in bathrooms, corridors, stadiums, etc.
6. Plant fiber carpet
Made from plant fibers. Commonly used in the raised structure of highly abrasion-resistant carpets, but it can be very rough to the touch. Plant fibers are also processed into grass mats and laid indoors. Sisal carpet is made of sisal fiber through spinning, weaving, gluing, vulcanization, and other processes. It has the characteristics of acid and alkali resistance, wear resistance, stable size, and no static electricity. Its price is lower than that of wool carpet, but its elasticity is less. Divided into plain and dyed, there are twill, rib, herringbone, canvas, half Panama, domino and other patterns. The width is less than 4m, and the length is less than 50m. It can be used for public legal sales and home floor decoration in buildings, halls, halls, and institutes.
